I went that way. The piece marked as "off-grid" on the ascent is a good path with a fantastic view - the most beautiful part of the hike! It is even signposted: signpost "Bättmer-Hitta". The piece marked "off-grid" on the way back is part of the official "Marmot Trail" (To Smile: Komoot's attempt to pronounce "Marmot Trail" :)
