This is a nice little section on the South West Coast path. The destination was Charleston, which is the district of St. Austell with the harbor.
Of course there are other nice pubs in Saint Austell, but you have to have a destination ...

From Falmouth, take the ferry to Saint-Mawes. There you have to change to a small boat to get to Saint-Mawes-Place. Price of the two ferry crossings (together) in August 2019: 12.50 lb.
Mostly on the South-West-Coast-Path, which I would like to praise here again: excellently signposted and maintained, every kilometer is a feast for the eyes.
The last part of the hike we did on the Saints Way, which runs a bit more inland.
