The tour leads past many highlights of the Hochrhön. But the last few kilometers drag, no matter where you start. Clockwise I like the round best. You can take along a big dog, but you can hardly enjoy the sparse water on the way, only from the Elsbach and Basaltsee. For children of all ages, the track is more of a punishment.
From Wechterswinkel up the Rhönberg, over the Holzacker to the Stebach and Klosterweggraben and back through the forest.
