Somehow a contrast to the alpine crossing and yet with plenty of altitude and incline. A very nice tour with a worthwhile stopover for thirst and hunger - the Dursterhof. The path and the views are great.

The quarter absolutely deserves its name - Bella Vista - beautiful view. Top location, top quarter, top Fassauna experience, top service & cuisine. And then another "top tour" on the back ice. The start at altitude is still a bit fresh, but a 20-30% incline warming you up relatively quickly. Great interplay…

If the shared taxi has collected us in Wenns after the descent, it goes winding to the end of the Pitztal to Mittelberg. Even if there is not "the highlight" on the tour - because the tour is one single highlight - the Larcheralm will certainly be remembered positively. You don't have to sleep and eat deliciously in a yurt every day😊.
We have known for a long time that it is beautiful here in the Spessart. Today, with great winter hiking conditions, masses of 🚗🚙🚗🚙 found their way to Alsberg. We walked the donkey path towards Merneser Heilige. A very good decision, not only because of the many F, OF etc that stretch your legs and🛷 😉.
