River adventure tour on the Wiesent 🏞

At kayak rental service in Doos near Waischenfeld a two kayak 🛶 rented.

On the Wiesent with flat spots and some rapids 🌊 completed the 14.5 km route.

The paddling was really fun. Only the tiresome repositioning at the inaccessible weirs made some work up a sweat… voir plus

It's definitely a great alternative to hiking. And you can also explore the landscape in another way. The cycling will probably also come next 😊

We have done this several times and let it go well. But these very robust kayaks were extremely heavy in terms of weight. Some of the stretches to be carried at the weirs were 150 m and were hardly manageable for the women.

Despite the sweaty deposits, your tour is really animating. A good snack and a little gusset comforter puts everything back in order.
