Our third tour in Flanders, which has completely inspired us (1st Connecterra, 2nd Hoge Kempen - Mechelse Heide, 3rd Hoge Kempen - Lanaken).

The route is one of the only two "premium hiking trails" in Belgium, which were classified as such by the German Hiking Institute.

Today we hiked one of the two premium hiking trails in the Hoge Kempen National Park. A very varied route, we really liked it. Although it was Saturday, we were completely alone on the middle part of the hike in the forest - pure nature!

Fifth hike in the Hoge Kempen National Park. This time to an extension of the park, the Oudsberg, the highest and largest open dune in Flanders (inland dune), the dune belt ("Duinengordel").

We left early, so it started before 11 o'clock with the hike. That was good too, because the sun is banging down… voir plus

On the way back from the hike to the Oudsberg (HK 5 National Park) there was a short detour to the Bergerven, a lake beautifully situated between forest and open areas.

Of course, our anniversary tour went to our favorite National Park Hoge Kempen. Was great again today and also the four-legged friends had a lot of fun!

In fantastic weather we were in the Belgian National Park Hoge Kempen in the area around the lake at Connecterra on the way.

In the extensive Hoge Kempen National Park near Lanaken we were able to hike very relaxed today - forests, heathland, meadows and ponds belonged to us for long stretches alone.

Our New Year's tour took us to the Hoge Kempen National Park in Belgium to the dune belt at Oudsberg, the highest land dune in Flanders. We had booked sunshine, fog was delivered. The fog conjured up a super beautiful mood over the landscape. Today we were almost alone in the nature reserve.

Today we were drawn to the Hoge Kempen National Park in Belgium to the Connecterra lakes. There is a beautiful panoramic view from the hill. The heather in the Hoge Kempen National Park is currently blooming very nicely. We had a relaxing day on a great tour, hardly frequented during the week.
