Impressive building. Very well preserved or restored. Guided tour 10 €. In 1 hour you will be guided through the Innete of the castle and informed about the most important history. You can comfortably from the central bus station in Eisenach with the bus line 3 up to the Wartburg boot up or run. It's worth a visit!!

Because of rain and thunderstorms by train from Bad Salzungen to Eisfeld for 17 €. From Eisfeld (ZOB) I am then by bus (209) up to Masserberg and very relaxed down to Werraquelle and then back to iceberg. Taking bicycles in the bus (I was the only passenger) was not a problem.
