Thanks to all the rainfall in recent weeks, the Eichener See is currently nicely filled and of course well attended. This morning it was still okay, at a later time the parking lot is regularly overcrowded, so I always start right at the Schopheim train station. After the lake you can really let off… voir plus

After yesterday's surprise with the old snow on the summit tour, I stayed in lower regions today. I wanted to go to the "Schöne Aussicht" in Hägelberg for a long time because of the mentions here (Tom, thank you for the tip🤗), and a small takeaway at Café Hygge is also motivating ...

Especially for a cloudy day like today I had planned a round at Maulburg for a long time - actually only under the motto "get your butt up and remove a blank spot on my personal map".

Actually, I had expected less snow after this thaw week, but there was still a lot left (and since yesterday even new things were added).

From the start at the Zell train station up to the Kalvarienkapelle, the snow cover was still relatively thin, but as a result, winter wonderland was quickly back in… voir plus

For the Sunday tours I like to choose less known and frequented areas, including a pretty quiet corner in the small meadow valley today.

In terms of loneliness, I was really served this time: I didn't meet a soul on the 12km from Bürchau to the Zeller Blauen😅.

The Köhlgarten is one of the lesser-known Black Forest peaks, especially from Lipple you are mostly alone here on weekends. This seems to be wanted to a certain extent, so that the relatively numerous capercaillie have rest here - practically no signage and even on the OSM (and thus also in komoot) complete… voir plus

The cool idea with Höll- and Heißbachschlucht comes from hiking friend Marko (many thanks for the suggestion🤗) ... the idea to spice up the good old village cleaning comes to us from the Allgäu.

Today's round I put together from two tours: the jungle path from Schönau and the snail's head circular hike that starts at the Holzer Kreuz.

The jungle path is around 5.5 km long when it starts at Schönau Town Hall, I started at Villersexel-Platz at the former train station. The actual forest circuit… voir plus

Today's weather forecast was not necessarily an invitation for the altitude, so I preferred to let off steam on the (high) Rhine. Mostly asphalt and wide roads, of course, but Rheinfelden (CH) in particular is always worth a visit. Parking at the Karsau forest cemetery is very easy, and with a return… voir plus

En fait, cela devrait être la visite officielle de Hörnle au départ de Raich, mais avec les visites dans le Kleines Wiesental, c'est souvent une telle chose : les pistes ne sont pas disponibles, la signalisation est parfois incomplète et après 15 ans d'utilisation du GPS, je suis tout simplement trop… voir plus

Le point de départ de ce safari photo aux champignons par un temps d'automne magnifique est le parking de randonnée de Baselmatt, peu après la petite bifurcation menant à Sallneck.

Après seulement quelques mètres, vous êtes à l'entrée des gorges du Heissbach, la partie la plus spectaculaire du circuit… voir plus

J'avais vu cette tournée à @Sarah et @Thomas Müller il y a quelque temps et je suis sur la liste depuis - aujourd'hui, elle convient enfin...

Le départ se fait à la gare de Zell / Wiesental, après l'église, le Blauener Weg monte jusqu'à la périphérie du village, ce qui est court et extrêmement raide.
