Schönberg-Hexental-Hausrunden

Hi, yes - was a nice round, sometimes icy and slippery, but ok. Picture 12, the sun was about to break through, but it did not make it, but that's why the photo has become so great.

yes, especially if you are up. Through the vineyards you just stop on tarmac roads, but up are great forest trails and singletrack - also suitable for mountain bikers

Except for the stretch between Bollschweil and Gütighofen (some gravel or asphalt), the paths were nice to walk, but you have to look for the highlights on the track. ;-)

Recommend turn off the turnoff to St. Ullrich and prefer to walk back in the woods.

No time for hiking today, but a walk is always possible

My tour of the house up the Schönberg became an unplanned but beautiful hike today: the first ascent on narrow paths, then further on wide forest paths and the way back on the high path along the Hexental. Great views towards Freiburg, the villages in Hexental and the still white Black Forest were great… voir plus

The stadium construction of our Freiburg sports club is making progress 🙂

To all parents and grandparents: the completely renewed forest playground at the beginning of the tour has become beautiful - highly recommended. (Parking available)

So I start walking, the first highlight - my favorite church in Freiburg / St. Georgen💒 then always along the train, accompanied by wonderful train noises, super-fast cyclists 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♂️ and a life-weary raven on the tracks. if it gets too hot during the day we go for a run early in the morning, the moss forest is our favorite forest for it.
