In initially moderate weather, it was today first on wide paths on the lined by numerous wooden figures "Christkindweg" through a lot of forest. This hike lives from the beautiful climb through the Zechengrund. Pure nature! The trail runs along the Pöhlbach and at the same time the German / Czech border. Blueberry bushes, ferns, mosses and horsetail as far as the eye can see. In between, a pretty plateau with some wind turbines. Finally, on the… voir plus

The tour begins with funny characters who have been carved into the tree stumps along the way, the Waldgeisterweg. Quickly you have climbed the steady rise and find yourself again in front of mighty granite rocks that protrude vertically from the ground. The griffin stones. The massive steel structure… voir plus

It was a wonderful late summer day and a beautiful tour with many panoramic views around Schneeberg. Part of the trail runs along the Schneeberg-Neustädter Bergbaulehrpfade, so that time and again other historic sites and relics of mining in the Erzgebirge can be admired.

It was beautiful again. But also a little exhausting. The starting point was the castle Wolkenstein with a small herb garden. It went steeply down through rugged rock into the Wolfsschlucht. Komoot abandoned me today. Presumably overwhelmed by the many shuffling around in search of the right perspective or the constant wait for better light, it has suddenly quit its service. Today's hike had so much to offer. First the porphyry cliffs of the Lugsteine, big and small. Then the way through the Georgenfelder Hochmoor which is currently being extensively renatured. Varied hike around the traditional clock town Glashütte in the Erzgebirge. Interesting forest passages, viewpoints and last but not least the modern manufacturing facilities of the world-famous clocks, together with clock museum, can be discovered here.
