A very scenic connection between Witzenhausen and Kassel runs through the Niestetal. I haven't hiked here yet, but out of curiosity I had been considering it for a long time.

Interesting association with health, but hiking also keeps you fit 😜. In my opinion, the name comes from the word Nyste, which means something like "New Place" and refers to the foundation of the village of Nieste in the 13th century (or even earlier?).

It's nice that there was still enough to photograph. My favorite: the color and light combination of the green leaves in the sun in front of a mystical dark background with the darkest blue and a little yellow in # 10
