Finally had the opportunity for a longer tour. The P01 hiking trail leads to the Kalbe and Stinkefelsen on the Hoher Meissner. The latter is really called that, by the way. I now know why 😉. The old lignite mining sends its regards.

The Kripp and Hielöcher are a karst landscape designated as a nature reserve near Frankershausen am Hohen Meißner. As a premium trail P2, they are well developed and especially worth a trip in late spring because of the splendor of flowers.

Beautiful and varied tour through forest, wooded moor and grassland in the Hahnenmoor near Hohne. The diverse chirping of birds, the cranes looking for a feeding place and two goldhamers were noticed. And the buzz of the mosquitoes 😜
