The tour was wetter than expected. The precipitation radar actually promised a rain-free area south of Berlin from noon. So I quickly took the train to Jüterbog. From there over the S12, S13 and S7 of the Flämingskate to the Dahmeradweg. Perfect route, mostly independent bike path or bike road with the… voir plus

The plan for today's tour:

- Avoid suburban and regional traffic, as there is a strike, i.e. longer bike routes out of or into Berlin,

- Area Geltow - Lehnin - Netzen - Get to know Gollwitz, I haven't been there yet,

- Havel cycle path - because beautiful.



The result - overall good:

- During the planning, the construction-related replacement rail traffic between Bestensee and Halbe was bypassed and Finsterwalde and Guben were therefore selected as the start and end point. The Cottbus route would have been much… voir plus

- the Oderbruchbahn cycle route from Fürstenwalde to Diedersdorf, mostly on cycle paths, cycle roads or side streets with little traffic through hilly and varied landscape - very beautiful, (details here: seenland-oderspree.de/Media/Touren/Oderbruchbahn-Radweg)

Today's round from Tempelhof via Woltersdorf, Jägerbude to Grünau for a meeting in the sports club, after a long break back to Tempelhof.

After returning, however, I had doubts as to whether the calories consumed (3 pieces of cake result in a maximum of 1,500 kcal) were in the right proportion to the calories consumed (3,600 kcal… voir plus

Relaxed round on well-known paths into the countryside and to the water with two coffee and cake breaks.

That wasn't my day today:

- Truck drivers turning left on the opposite side of the road, who could only be prevented from riveting me by shouting loudly,

- an approx. 80-year-old car driver who overtakes me outside of town at 80 km / h with oncoming traffic at a distance of 10 cm. She probably didn't notice… voir plus

The vast majority of the route leads over bicycle roads, cycle paths or side roads with little traffic - very good.

Traffic facilities: Mostly country roads, busy with traffic, without bicycle traffic facilities - bad.

What stands out positively:

- Wiesenhagen - Woltersdorf: farm road, 2 concrete strips - good

- Luckenwalde - Werder: Fläming skate, bike paths - very… voir plus

Visit friends via well-known routes to Borkwalde. Therefore no photos and descriptions.

Sporty round between breakfast and lunch (lunch picked up in the bistro of LPG Mehringdamm), if possible in the countryside, as there would be:

- Footpath and bike path on the Teltow Canal,

- Königsweg in the Düppeler Forest,

- Cycle path on the east bank of the Templiner See,

Today's tour from Cottbus, as the weather forecast for the southeast (from Berlin's perspective) predicted particularly warm and sunny weather, which also happened.



The most beautiful sections:

- Cycle path north of Cottbus directly on the Spree on the dam, old trees, meandering river.

Today's goals: Nuthe-Nieplitz-Niederung nature reserve and Nuthe-Nieplitz nature park.



If you look at the Komoot cycle map or Opencyclemap, there is a huge gap in the cycle route network. Therefore, today I planned the route without knowing the way into the middle of the green areas of the nature reserve… voir plus

Today's tour led into the Fläming in the area between Jüterbog, Treuenbrietzen and Bad Belzig, which I didn't know yet.



There are some scenic highlights:

- Bardenitz - Treuenbritzen - Lüdendorf: small-scale landscape, wetlands, Bardenitz Fliess, Nieplitz, pine and mixed forests, fields - very pretty

Nice sections were:

- Dahmeradweg Grünau - Schmöckwitz, riverside path with beautiful views of the Long Lake in the morning haze.

- Spreetal from Steinfurt to Spreenhagen: fields, forests, groups of trees, occasionally… voir plus

Today's tour should actually lead to the Schorfheide. But: 6 a.m. look at the precipitation radar and satellite image - a band of clouds with snow and rain is approaching from the northwest. So quickly planned a tour in the southeast across the Fläming-Skate and further on the Dahmeradweg back to Berlin… voir plus
