Today a pleasure hike near the Timmelsjoch at about 2000m. Easy to walk path with a sensational mountain backdrop - almost kitschy 😆😄, but highly recommended 👍👌

A shorter and easier hike on the west side of the Merano Basin to compensate. Except for the short descent from St. Hyppolyt, which was very steep and difficult to walk, the tour was on gravel or forest paths. The highlight was the view from St. Hyppolyt into the Merano basin - simply sensational.

This tour is - even if it is partly in a tourist hotspot - highly recommended. After about half an hour you can go off the beaten track and let the sensational nature work its magic - a real experience.

The tour was supposed to go to Verdins, but was shortened because of the weather - it was also very nice. It was annoying that the weather would have been ideal for hiking from around 4 p.m., because the rain stopped then and the sun was shining.

Wanderweg mit traumhaftem Bergpanorama / Sentiero panoramico
Randonnée - Incontournable (Segment)
Sur le chemin du parking à l'Alm Oberglanegg, vous avez un avant-goût fantastique de ce qui attend les randonneurs en termes de panorama de montagne sur le chemin de Seebersee - tout simplement magnifique, écrasant et un plaisir. Le chemin vers l'Alm est facile à parcourir et sans pentes importantes - mais le paysage est magnifique...

Pfarrkirche Maria Himmelfahrt
Randonnée - Incontournable
Cette belle église a été mentionnée pour la première fois par écrit en 1194, elle est donc d'origine romane. La rénovation gothique eut lieu à partir de 1500 et le maître-autel fut construit en 1896. En 1986, l'église a été entièrement restaurée.
Dans l'église, il convient particulièrement de voir les peintures sur verre de l'école d'Augsbourg datant d'environ 1520, ainsi que les fonts baptismaux avec une structure en bois et une image du Sacré-Cœur, tous deux datant de 1796.
Juste à côté de l'église, dans l'enceinte de l'église, se trouve la chapelle Saint-Michel du XVe siècle avec des peintures murales de la période gothique tardive. Au sous-sol de la chapelle se trouve un ossuaire, une salle pour les ossements.Avis par Stephan

Today cycling was once the trend, on the bike path along the Passer. The path is - except for the first two and the last two kilometers, where the path is very steep - very easy to drive. It now has no spectacular sections, but the landscape is very beautiful.
